从温州到伦敦，她的绩点冲刺日记

在校期间连续三年保持绩点位列专业第一，是她给自己设定的“必修课”。图书馆的晨光与夜灯见证着她对每门专业课的精益求精，这份坚持让她连续斩获浙江省政府奖学金、优秀学生一等奖学金、三好学生等荣誉。在英语能力提升的道路上，她同样步履稳健，雅思首考四项小分便达到海外院校直录标准。

以赛促学，她的竞赛实战经历

积极参与各类学科竞赛，从挑战杯到温州市创意营销大赛，她的身影活跃在各大商科赛事现场，她深有体会：“每一次案例分析、商业策划，都在帮助我打破课堂边界，把财务报表上的数字转化为真实市场的决策依据。”这些实战经历，悄然积淀成为她申请文书中的闪光点。除了商科类竞赛，她还积极参与各类英语大赛，“批改网杯全国大学生英语写作大赛”、“LSCAT浙江省笔译大赛”、“2022年全国大学生英语翻译大赛”等等，都留下她斩获嘉奖的痕迹。她说，参加英语类的学科竞赛是提升她英语能力的有效途径，这也是以赛促学的真实写照。

申8所，中8所，她的申请季成功秘籍

在25Fall的申请季里，饶柯璨同学选择申请的8所大学里她都拿到了令人心动的offer。当回顾她的申请之路时，她总结出三大成功因素。

三档定位：精准“狙击”梦校

“我的申请之路只是看上去一帆风顺，其实刚开始我也不是很确定自己到底想要学什么，英国还是澳洲，继续学商科还是换个专业尝试一下，这些因素都让我感到犹豫不决。但是非常感谢金牌导师：唐思桐老师和蔡梓彤老师，他们两位在我的申请过程中付出了很大的努力。唐老师与我商讨择校方案，理性分析我的情况，以及我适合申请的专业，制定‘冲刺——匹配——保底’三级选校方案，让我认真考虑，做好两手准备，这为我后续申请少走太多的弯路。蔡老师在我申请澳洲学校时多次与院校招生官沟通，为我的申请保驾护航。”

独家记忆：准备“会讲故事”的文书

“在文书材料准备上，我会仔细研究每所大学、每个专业的申请要求，针对每所院校定制差异化材料”。她的各项申请材料里，几乎每一所大学的申请材料亮点都有所不同，在文书撰写方面她也有小妙招要分享。在文书中要体现学术衔接性，如需要跨专业转型，则提供多维度的支撑点，深度了解目标专业课程特色与优势。饶柯璨回忆道：“在利兹大学的申请文书中，我就特意结合了过往参加浙江省经济案例分析大赛的经历，这与我所申请的利兹大学地球与环境学院的专业息息相关，招生官十分认可我的学科背景与实践经历的契合度，我也同时收获了利兹大学国际卓越奖学金（￡3300，学费减免10%）。”

据悉，利兹大学国际卓越奖学金的申请条件十分严苛，奖学金的申请竞争过程十分激烈，并非所有申请都会成功。只有学习成绩优异，或具备出色的专业和个人技能，并能被预测或已经获得2：1（荣誉）或同等成绩获得学士学位的国际学生才有资格申请该项奖学金。

时间管理：采用分批投递申请

在申请策略上她采用梯度投递的方式，按录取难度由高到低分批申请，确保每份申请材料都达到最优状态。“每所学校下录取的速度是不一样的，我也无法确定冲刺院校的offer我是否能获取。好在结果确实没有辜负我和导师的共同努力。”除了英国和澳洲名校的申请，饶柯璨同学还自己DIY申请了港澳院校，关注院校的招生动态和研究方向，提前准备线上面试的材料，在面试时从容应对考官的每个问题，最终她也收到了澳门科技大学递来的录取通知书。

在温商将近四年的经历如今都成为她走向更广阔天地的底气，对于正在追梦的学弟学妹，她想说：“保持自己的节奏，把每个阶段的小目标踏实走好，时间自会给出最好的答案。”

The morning light and evening lamps in the library witnessed her relentless pursuit of excellence in every subject. This dedication earned her honors like the Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship, First-Class Academic Scholarship, and "Outstanding Student" awards. She also aced her IELTS on her first attempt, meeting direct entry requirements for overseas universities.

Learning Through Competitions: Her Practical Experience

Actively participating in academic competitions, from the "Challenge Cup" to the Wenzhou Creative Marketing Competition, she thrived in business-related events. "Every case analysis and business plan helped me bridge classroom theory with real-world decision-making," she reflected. These experiences became standout highlights in her application materials. Beyond business competitions, she excelled in English contests like the "National English Writing Competition" and "Zhejiang Translation Competition," crediting them as key drivers of her language proficiency.

For the 2025 Fall intake, Rao secured offers from all 8 universities she applied to. She attributes her success to three strategies:

1. Three-Tier Targeting: Precision in Ambition

"My journey seemed smooth, but I initially struggled with choosing between countries and majors. My mentors, Ms. Tang Sitong and Ms. Cai Zitong, were instrumental. Ms. Tang helped craft a strategic 'reach-match-safety' school list, while Ms. Cai liaised with Australian admissions teams to secure my spot."

2. Storytelling Documents: Crafting Unique Narratives

"I tailored each application to the university’s specific requirements. For Leeds’ Earth and Environment program, I highlighted my experience in the Zhejiang Economic Case Analysis Competition, aligning my background with their curriculum. This earned me their International Excellence Scholarship (10% tuition waiver)."

3. Phased Applications: Strategic Timing

She applied in waves, prioritizing schools by competitiveness. "I couldn’t predict outcomes, but the results justified our efforts." She also DIY-ed applications to Hong Kong and Macau universities, acing interviews through thorough preparation, culminating in an offer from Macau University of Science and Technology.
